My Hamilton Magazine feature, Industrial Evolution, has been recognized by the 2019 SWP Awards. Juror Shane Neilson chose the feature for an Honourable Mention in the Alvin A. Lee Award for Creative Non-Fiction category. Congratulations to all the award recipients!
The Short Works Prize was founded in 2014 by Hamilton Arts & Letters Magazine, Bryan Prince Bookseller, and the Hamilton Public Library. The awards presentation takes place this weekend at the Central Library — one of the buildings covered in my feature.
